Nestled at the foot of the picturesque Cotswold Hills is Bretforton House Farm, where the Appleby family have farmed for three generations. The delicious organic grass, grown over nearly 800 acres of pasture feeds the crossbred cows (mainly Friesian and Jersey) that produce the rich and creamy milk that goes into Spot Loggins scrumptious ice cream.
The family are proud to say that their cows are grazed outside for 9 months of the year, only have antibiotics when absolutely necessary and are kept to the highest standards of animal husbandry demanded of by the organic certification system…… HAPPY COWS!!
Together with this organic milk the ice cream is blasted with fabulous flavours, which include using local fruit when in season. Flavours include Strawberry, Raspberry & White Chocolate, Apple Pie as well as Cookies a& Cream, Honeycomb and Pure Dairy, to name but a few.
Seasonal local flavours include Asparagus, using world renowned Vale of Evesham Asparagus and Lavender, using lavender from Snowshill Lavender Farm.
With the all natural ingredients, many locally sourced and all being 100% traceable, Spot Loggins can claim to be ……COW TO CONE……!

The Legend Of Spot Loggins
There is many a gruesome tale surrounding the origin of the Spot Loggins’ ghost. Some say she was a lady up to no good or worse… Some say he was a cattle drover who drowned in the well when he was drunk. Local believe that any who runs around the well three times while blindfolded will lose anything they are carrying. But all agree she or he dances around the Spot Loggins Well in the meadow opposite the farm buildings when no-one is looking!
